Luong Van Can Fund kicks off Domestic Scholarships 2016-2017

As of 1 April 2016, Luong Van Can Fund (LVCF) starts to receive applications for Domestic Scholarships which financially support outstanding students to pursue their higher education in Universities and Colleges in nationwide, academic year 2016 – 2017. Luong Van Can Fund is established on 12 September 2014 aiming to develop a new generation of highly skilled professionals beneficial for Vietnam’s social and economic growth. In 2015, LVCF provided 58 scholarships including full scholarships, tuition fee scholarships and living expenses scholarships (depending on academic achievements and family backgrounds of each applicant) for excellent students from 27 Universities and Colleges throughout the country. Besides financial assistance during the students’ college time, LVCF also conduct activities to help the scholarship recipients enhance their knowledge and skills.

The Coaching Program calls for engagement of intellectuals and entrepreneurs to support the recipients in career orientation, internships or fieldtrip tours to the companies by which the students can grasp more practical understandings about their studies. Furthermore, LVCF also organizes training sessions and talks with successful individuals during the periodic meetings of Luong Van Can Club to inspire the students to keep trying for their dreams.
