STUDENTS FROM 49/63 CITIES AND PROVINCES IN VIETNAM SUBMITTED TO LUONG VAN CAN SCHOLARSHIP
After a working session on 31 July 2015, the Selection Committee has proposed 70 applicants to join the interview round (taking place on 17 and 18 August 2015). The nominees proved to excel in their study, consistently demonstrated their future objectives and action plans among 390 applications from 49 cities/ provinces and 38 universities/ colleges throughout the country. It is noted that, many of the 70 nominees are handicapped, or belongs to ethnic minorities but still achieved outstanding academic results. Meanwhile, a number of applications have not met the recruitment eligibility due to overdue submission, lack of required information or improperly submitting the required documents.
The Selection Committee included notable experts in education and business fields heading by Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia, Permanent Vice President of Association of Vietnam’s Universities and Colleges.
The first round’s result will be informed to applicants by 10 August 2015 at the latest in order to enable them to prepare their best for the interview. Those who are successful from the interview round will be awarded Luong Van Can Scholarship.
Luong Van Can Fund expects to organize a training camp to the scholarship recipients. A scholarship award ceremony is going to be held on 12 September 2015 on the occasion of the Fund’s first anniversary.
