Luong Van Can Fund organized the Community Project Program for the 2023-2024 academic year
On the morning of Sunday, March 3, 2024, the Luong Van Can Fund organized the Community Project Program for the 2023-2024 academic year, specifically for the Fund’s students. This year, the Luong Van Can Fund revamped the program format, modeling it after a popular television investment show. Named Nemo Tank, this year’s Community Project Program aimed to create a platform where students acted as startup teams, pitching their projects and seeking investment from an investment panel.
For this academic year, nine project teams met the eligibility criteria to participate in the funding round, showcasing diverse models and organizational scales. The projects included:
- Engsharing – English Team
- Green Hope – Da Nang Team
- MPVI
- Books and You
- Journey to Raise Awareness and Sort Waste – Can Tho Team
- Skills Corner Class – EVG Library
- Touch the Future – Northern Team
- Video Lectures – A Solution to Support the Integration of Visually Impaired Students
- Research on Evaluating the Implementation of State Learning Support Policies for the Visually Impaired in Shelters
Over the course of three hours, the teams sequentially presented key aspects of their projects, aiming to convince the investment panel to fund them. The project teams were required to present detailed information regarding their target beneficiaries, planned activities, expected outcomes, and budget estimations. Following each presentation, the investment panel asked critical questions before determining their funding allocations.
In addition to answering questions from the panel, teams received feedback and recommendations to help them refine and align their projects more effectively with their capabilities.
With its new format and structural improvements, the Community Project Program 2023-2024 served as an exciting new platform for students of the Luong Van Can Fund, providing them with an opportunity to learn and broaden their perspectives on community project implementation. Through this initiative, students gained a valuable environment to enhance their soft skills and acquire practical experience.
The Luong Van Can Talent Support Fund sincerely appreciates the support and participation of its sponsors, partners, mentors, and alumni. Their contributions serve as valuable resources and experiences, empowering students on their journey to serve the community.
