Luong Van Can Foundation Held Scholarship Award Ceremony & Orientation Program for the 2025–2026 Academic Year
From September 26 to 28, the Luong Van Can Foundation, in collaboration with its Student Club, organized the University-level Scholarship Award Ceremony for the 2025–2026 academic year at Ly Tu Trong Youth Union School. This year, the LVCF welcomed 43 new students and continued to award 77 current students. All of them are outstanding individuals with excellent academic achievements, strong determination to overcome challenges, a passion for learning, and clear future goals.
We were honored by the presence of Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia – Former Vice Director of Vietnam National University HCMC and Chair of the Luong Van Can Foundation Selection Committee – along with mentors, trainers, and representatives from partner organizations. During the ceremony, student Nguyen Minh Nhu Thuy expressed her heartfelt gratitude to sponsors and guests, sharing her personal journey of growth:
“In the four years since becoming a student at LVCF, I have undergone significant changes. Now, I can live independently, and I would like to support those in need. I sincerely thank the Luong Van Can Foundation for guiding me, particularly the Executive Board and mentors who provided valuable knowledge and care, as well as our generous sponsors for sowing the seeds of hope. I am going to share love and gratitude with future generations.”

Following the ceremony, students joined the Orientation Program & Traditional Camp themed “Capital Quest – The Journey of Growth.” The camp provided a safe, warm environment where students could reflect on themselves and confidently move forward on their chosen paths.
Through a series of workshops led by experts in education, psychology, and the arts, students explored their personal resources and needs:
- Safety & Inner Mapping: Under the guidance of Mr. Nguyen Trieu Trung, students worked in teams and learned the foundational concepts of personal resources and needs through the Employability Capital Growth Model and Human Scale Development.
- Morning Calm: Students practiced mindfulness and deep breathing to cultivate focus.
- Staying Sharp in the Information Age: Led by Mr. Nguyen Viet Hai – Deputy Head of the Department of Liberal Education, ONE UMT Center, students explored cognitive frameworks to support decision-making in today’s world.
- Relaxation & Recovery: Students participated in restorative activities guided by Team Sagebrushbeauty and BiA.
- Team Strength: Students were divided into nine teams and rotated through three simultaneous stations:
- Movement Station led by Ms. Bui Tuyet Minh (Vietnam Dance/Movement Therapy)
- Teamwork Station with Master Tham Tran (Founder of the Playfulness) and Ms. Van Trang (Coordinator at Circle Way Vietnam)
- Improv Station guided by Nguyen Ngoc Bao Dung (Ibsen Small Stage Project)
6–8. Evening Activities (Sept 27): Students engaged in art performances and shared meaningful moments in a device-free, warm, and friendly space, strengthening bonds and exchanging stories, dreams, and aspirations.
- Vision & Commitment (Sept 28): Students created vision boards under the guidance of Nguyen Huong Linh, Master of Art Therapy at the School of Visual Arts, visualizing their future paths through images, keywords, and symbols.

We sincerely thank all guest experts for designing these enriching activities for our students. On this occasion, the Luong Van Can Foundation also expresses deep gratitude to sponsors, educational partners, and individuals who have supported the growth of young talents over the years. As the new academic year begins, we hope our students will achieve excellent results and gain valuable experiences on their journey of growth.
