LVC Student Executive Board organized “First Aid Skill” Training Session

On the morning of May 21, 2018, The Student Executive Board of Luong Van Can Fund offered its students “First aid skill” training session at the Open Space of Officience Company – a new partner of Luong Van Can Fund. The purpose of this activity was to provide the scholarship recipients with knowledge on fundamental first aid skills as well as their applying procedures in reality. Came sharing with the students was Mr. Nguyen Tu Nhu – doctor of Traditional Medicine Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.

To begin the training session, the speaker introduced students to the definition of first aid and its importance in terms of minimizing the degree of physical injury and mortality risk. Mr Nhu also emphasized some vital rules that we should always keep in mind. In emergency situations, we need to calm down and keep ourselves safe first, then administer first aid to the victims and seek support from others. In addition to the theory, students also had the chance to practice what they had learnt to deal with some common accidents such as snakebite, bee stings, burns, heart apnoea, and sprains.

Mr. Nguyen Tu Nhu instructed CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

This event is one of the annual activities organized by the Student Executive Board in order to create a playground and reinforce the connection amongst Luong Van Can students.
